"Self-Destruction"

Republic of Macedonia since 1996, a comedy directed by Erbil Altanay in a
scenario by Robert Pashovski.
The movie "Self-destruction" is an urban tragicomedy, the theme of which is
the breakdown of the family, the crisis of the individual connected with
the spirit of the time in which the action takes place, although above
all, it is a family moral drama that can be accommodated at any time and
place, And in this case it is taking place in a Skopje suburb, and it is happening now. It's a story about Kuplung, a taxi driver, a man without moral prejudice, a bully and a lover, a man who respects his passions. He treats wife Stoyna, a worker at a factory, as a property, so she
robust obediently fulfills his demands and tolerates his rude and simple
behavior.Cole, his son, a student, is mistreated by his father who feels neither paternal love nor commitment to him. Kullung's
only weakness indicates to his mistress Shila, a cafe singer, who is
married to the police inspector, Stojna's brother. Only then, Kluwung is kicked out of the scheme she lives and immediately seeks a new sex object. Victim becomes the girl's son, Wilma, a naive and dumb girl who becomes his lover after rape. From this secret relationship, she remains pregnant. Cole, in a brutal scene of Kuulung's violence on Stojna, attacks the father who then remains a wheelchair-bound invalid. Cole
is married to Vilma, she gives birth to a son, and Stojna continues to
robustly endure the fate encumbered with new difficulties.
